Mission
Planting should look deliberate in July and still hold its shape in February. That comes from the plan, not from the nursery run.
Levels before lines
We survey the falls and dig a soil pit first. A garden that fights its own slope never settles.
Drainage you never see
Soakaways, channel drains and a fall away from the house, designed in rather than added after the first storm.
Stone laid on a proper base
Full mortar bed, cut on site, pointed by hand. It is the part nobody photographs and the part that fails first.
